She trembles, her world comes crashing down
She somehow, somewhere lost her ground
Irrepressible fire and rain destroy her meaning of life
Holding nothing in her heart but strife
She falls to the ground with no buttress
Tears storm down her face of distress
Feeble and frail,
She kneels, extending her arms to heaven and yells
Elohay Mauzi, my Yahweh
Please guide my way
Rains pour down and fires rage vehemently
Never has she felt more lonely
Near the point of blasphemy
She hears a voice whisper quietly
Prevail through the storm,
Never allow yourself to fall to the ground
Stand strong through all the pain,
Believe that I won't let you down,
Hold tight to hope through the rain,
You won’t drown
The storm in your heart will be eased
All you need is to believe
Your heart may be broken
But never forsaken
At the end, what was lost will be found
For now, stand tall and stand your ground
Rains will surge down
Fires will blaze all around
But you will be safe in my arms
Your world may crumble
Dreams and hopes may not come true
But you are NEVER alone
For I will always love you
